Your product already works. We take over the engineering from here.
The designer is gone, the contractor is unavailable, or you want a second source. We pick up the board and the firmware you have and keep them moving, from fixes to the next build.

You have a working design and need a new engineering partner for it.
You want ongoing development, someone to troubleshoot it, the next prototype builds and a path to production. The question is whether we take on a design we did not draw. We do. We start from what exists, not from a blank page.
The whole design, as it stands today.
- Schematic and layout KiCad files, or Altium and Eagle designs, which we move into KiCad.
- Bill of materials Read line by line for parts at risk, missing alternates and anything that no longer matches the board.
- Firmware source The code that runs on the board, with its build steps, for STM32, ESP32, Nordic nRF52, Microchip PIC/AVR/SAM, TI MSP430/CC, and Arduino-compatible.
- Build and test setup How the board is assembled, programmed and tested today, and where that setup depends on a person or a tool that is gone.
- When files are incomplete We work from what exists. Where the files are missing we recover the schematic from the board itself, capture and document its interfaces and protocols, and analyze the firmware where the device allows it.
- A written handover review The state of the design, its risks, and a plan for the next build.
From a first call to the next build.
- 01 A short call You tell us what works, where you need help and what matters most. We tell you plainly whether we can take it on.
- 02 What we ask for The main issues, the target date, quantity and budget for the next build, and whether the design files, BOM and firmware source are available. If you need an NDA, we sign it before you share anything. For a safety-related product we also ask what protections exist and who handles safety validation and certification.
- 03 Handover review A scoped, paid technical review of what you hand over. It produces a written assessment and defines the work that follows.
- 04 Fixes and builds We fix what the review found, build the next prototypes and small batches on our own line, and test them.
The material a handover review reads.
Our own schematics, board layouts and BOMs, and boards we built and tested, not renderings from a stock library.
Before you ask
Do you need the original designer?
No. We work from the files, the board and the firmware source you have. If the designer or the contractor can still answer a few questions, that helps, and the review will say what it would have saved.
What if we only have Gerbers or a compiled binary?
We work from what exists. The handover review says how much of the design can be recovered and what that takes. Recovered work is redrawn in KiCad, and a binary is analyzed where the device allows it.
Will you sign our NDA first?
Yes. Tell us on the first call or in the quote form, and send nothing until it is signed.
Do you work on safety-related or regulated products?
Yes, working alongside your certification lab. We are not a certification body. On the first call we ask what protections already exist and who handles safety validation and certification.
What if you are unavailable?
The design should never depend on one person’s memory. We document as we go and hand it over: the design files, the firmware source and its build steps, and the test procedures, written down so another engineer can pick them up.
